I'm so excited about my new class "Textures: Backgrounds for Visual Journaling and Mixed Media" that I've made a short video to give you a peek. Simply click on that link to go to the registration page and read more details about the class. (The linked page also allows you to download a supplies list.)
Why am I excited about this 6-week class? It's just so packed full of information and examples! The exercises are set up to ensure that you will learn what your materials can do and how you can fit the process of creating rich background textures into your busy life. No more wishing you had a background prepared!
In this video I share my process and rationale for the choices I make. I explain materials to you.
Once you register you'll have lifetime access to the class materials. Even the live webinars I'll be doing in this class will be taped so that you can review them as well, any time you want. This will allow you to deepen your understanding.
You'll also be encouraged to share your work in a student gallery. You'll be inspired by the experiments of your fellow students.
Perhaps most important, I'll be in class to answer questions as they arise.
So who might benefit from this class?
Over the years when I've taught these techniques I have found that all students in my textures class, whether they are beginning artists or established artists, emerge with a new understanding of their tools and materials, as well as a better understanding of their process.
When we understand our process and our materials we allow ourselves to be in the best position to grow as artists.
I hope you'll register today and allow me to help you take your work and your working method to a new level.
Note: I'm posting here and on my new website because the latter is still in the works and not all subscribers are receiving regular updates.
