Dick has been coming home with various vegetables for me to sketch and it became immediately obvious to me what this one looked like the first time I drew it.
Gutenberg is a lovely paper for sketching. It has a slightly pebbled laid suface. The sizing on the paper, while not intended for watercolor, stands up to watercolor and gouache if you manage your water carefully. The creamy color and the lovely flecks in the paper are just an added bonus as far as I'm concerned.
