Thank you for this post Roz! Ron and I have been together for 36 years and someday we may have legal rights. With friends like you that just may happen. Terry

I hope the day comes soon Terry.

Thanks Roz, made me cry. I love LOVE too!

Cheryl

What a fabulous video - thanks for posting it. And the title of your post is so true - SOME day, gay marriage will be legal. It's no different than mixed race marriage - that used to be illegal too.

Miss T

Really nice video! Thanks for posting that, Roz.

I am appalled that gay marriage is not allowed. Love is love after all and, if a gay couple want to honour their love with marriage, they should be allowed to. Here in Australia, I'm pretty sure all states accept Civil Union now which gives gay couples the same legal rights in a relationship as a heterosexual couple...that in itself was a long time coming. However, the fight is still on to allow gay marriage. I hope it will be approved some day too.

Cheryl, it's really interesting that you make the mixed race analogy. Just the other day on MPR there was a black minister (I think they said he was a bishop in his church) from Virginia or Maryland and he was talking about gay marriage saying things like, "this isn't the time," and, well he just went on and on saying all the SAME things that racists said about the Civil Rights movement in the 1950s and 60s. I kept thinking, "Isn't he listening to himself? His mama would choke if she heard him."

I had to pull over, stop the car and change the channel, I just couldn't believe it.

Serena, thanks for posting on what's happening in Australia. I'm so frustrated by some of our Minnesota politicians and their idiocy that I'm not keeping up with anything else.

Wonderful, uplifting. The mystery is why this question keeps going on...and on.

Inconceivable to me that people would want to limit couples from committing their life to each other. For people who speak of faith, it is inconceivable that some people limit their view of the potential of God's creation to, really, their own limited view of right and wrong. I just don't understand any part of it. Ah well, it is all things we do to ourselves. Here's to walking in the path of the Lovings.

Thanks for posting Roz. This is a battle we have won in Massachusetts, and I cannot wait for the day when we the United States as a country do the right thing.
