I have used the Hand*Book Journal and mostly like it very much. The pages do buckle quite a bit with watercolor.

Nice review as always. I find them pretty fun and convenient. I hauled one of their green square journals throughout a trip of China since it was so easy to carry and use in the tour bus. Currently Pearl has a buy one get another for one cent deal going on that ends today: http://www.pearlpaint.com/shop~ocID~6999~parentID~6914~categoryID~69100~layoutIndicator~vertical.htm

Great review. Thanks. I have become interested in these due to seeing some EDM and some Urban Sketchers using them.

I saw them over a year ago in an art store but snubbed them because I was like, Mr. Molie guy then.

Owen, I've tried the paper in all the Moleskines and the Handbook and I really like the Handbook paper better for the things I like to do now. I like the toothier feel of the paper. For the cost (around $15 depending on size) I think it would be a worthwhile experiment Owen. If you do try it out let me know how you find the paper works (or doesn't) for you.
